Goals and Characteristics

The Center for Hip and Knee Replacement at Columbia University announces a one-year non-accredited research fellowship. The goal of this fellowship is to offer the Fellow a comprehensive education in the knowledge and skills requisite of a hip and knee surgeon-clinician investigator. Arthroscopy and bio skills laboratories are available for surgical training, research, and anatomic dissections. While main duties would include maintenance of the CHKR Joint Registry, motivated individuals would be invited to start their own clinical or basic science research endeavor. Also, with CHKR academic physicians well-versed in scientific language applicable to industry and government related grants, this fellowship would be invaluable to any young investigator with future goals in academic medicine or with desires to obtain skills in publishing continuously and consistently.

The applicant must have successfully completed a doctoral degree and must have a sufficient research background.

Qualified applicants should complete the application below and hand in all application materials to Dr. Macaulay at the address indicated above.

Columbia University is an equal opportunity employer.
